My thesis topic derives from the postmodern principle of stylistic heterogeneity, i.e. a person having multiple stylistic identities. The purpose of my thesis is to celebrate the fluidity of personal style. The desired outcome for this project is to showcase personal style in an organic way, demonstrating the variation of how users style/present the same garment. Which is more authentic than giving a rigid and inaccurate definition of personal style. Additionally, uplifting an innovative and sustainable fashion movement. Enacting people to change their perspective on old items in the closet, by democratizing creative fashion solutions.
