There is no question that coral reefs are in danger due to climate change, and that it is our fault. However, there is still a significant portion of society that does not believe in climate change, nor in the idea that it is our responsibility to care for nature. The clock is quickly counting down the time until the point of no return, which is estimated to be a short 15 years from now. It is important for as many people as possible to understand what is at stake. We must act now to protect nature, and humanity itself in the process.
How can we promote environmental consciousness and action for coral reefs? This series of projects aims to encourage viewers to understand why coral reefs are important, how they are in danger, and what they can do to help save them.
This was achieved through the creation of immersive visual experiences of coral reefs. These experiences span various digital media and take the user on an emotional journey through coral reefs. Sharing grand and intimate moments alike, these experiences will help the user establish a personal connection with reefs.
