Taste, Inherited is an authentic narrative on culture through food. This cookbook aims to illuminate heritage, traditions, and practices around dishes. To talk about eating with family - and cooking for family - and why that matters. The objective is to not only provide recipes and instruction on technique and ingredients, but to also include stories, narrative on culture, and its context. This cookbook is to be read as a personal essay, a memoir through food. The main aspect of being home, for me, stems from my mom’s cooking. Our sit downs around the dining table illuminate warmth within me. It is essential to highlight the place food occupies in people’s lives.
