My goal with this thesis was and will continue to document experiences and explorations through a multi-faceted label that tells stories through design by using different mediums such as fashion, photography, furniture design, and film. Each project or collection aims to tell a story, either rooted in history or is told as an exploration process. My first collection titled “Ace High” aims to showcase the Wild Wild West and the separation from traditional English clothing to a more utilitarian, durable style that westward expansion called for. By using specific influences from cowboys, gold miners, and the nature around them, graphics and cut & sew techniques are used to create a unisex collection.
